Un elemento clave de la identidad de Catania son los arcos del tren que pasan frente al palacio Biscari. Antiguamente descansaban sobre el agua del mar. al fondo se ve el edificio de la antigua Aduana.

Ein wichtiges Element der Identitàt Catania sind die Archen gegenueber den Biscari Palast. Ursprunglich wuerden auf dem Meersboden gebaut. Im Hintergrund sieht man das alte Zollsgebaeude.

An important element from Catanias Identity are the arches in front of the Biscari Palast. The were built over the water. Behind you can see the old Customs Building.

Catania, Piazza Duomo

A last ray of light iluminates the entrance of the duomo from Catania. People just live the mess. On the background the smoking vulcan Etna.

Un ultimo rayo de sol alcanza la entrada de la Catedral de Catania. La gente sale de misa. Al fondo se ve el Etna.
Eine letzte Lichtstrahl endet in then Eingang der Kathedrale. Die Leute gehen aus der Messe. In dem Hintergrund sieht man die rauchene Etna.

La Valleta -Malta- Port

El puerto de La Valleta es impresionante. Tuve la suerte de arrivar por barco a Malta. El arrivo a la fortificion del puerto es impresionante. Se comprende como Malta resis tanto tiempo como bastion de la cristiandad en el Mediterraneo, bajo el control de una orden religiosa militar, la orden de los caballeros de Mlata. Observa la dimesion de las murallas tomando como referencia los gigantescos cruceros turisticos.
Port of la Valleta, Malta. I was lucky to travel to Malta by boat. The port walls are huge! An incredible fortification. Observe the dimension of them using as a reference the size of the Cruises.
